Junior Aberdeen Youth Music Theatre presents...
The Railway Children
Wednesday 5th to Saturday 8th May at 7.30pm
“The Railway Children” is a well loved story from everyone’s childhood days and this musical adaptation still captures the special and enduring tale of the adventures of Roberta, Peter and Phyllis.
Set in 1905, three children find themselves being moved to the country after their father is falsely accused of being a spy. Their new home is close to a railway and they become friendly with Perks, the stationmaster, and win the heart of the ‘old gentleman’ who regularly takes the 9.15 train.
Containing some unique ballads and wonderful chorus numbers, this is simply a wonderful musical for all the family to come and see.

It's the '80s. Robbie Hart lives in his grandmother's basement in New Jersey and sings in a wedding band. His dreams of being a singer/songwriter are long gone, replaced now by a burning desire to find the right girl and settle down. When his fiancee leaves him standing at the altar, he becomes a wedding planner's worst nightmare, taking out his bitterness on stage until his eye and heart turn to a new friend, Julia, but she's engaged to a wealthy Wall Street broker.
